Ingredients
- 1 lb refrigerated lo mein noodles
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 12–15 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tsp oyster sauce
- 2 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp white granulated sugar
- 1½ tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1–2 green onions (sliced and chopped)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Whisk together oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar in a small bowl; set aside.
- Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook lo mein noodles for no more than 30 seconds, then transfer directly to a skillet with melted butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet; cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles; toss to coat evenly with salt and pepper.
- Off heat, stir in grated Parmesan cheese and chopped green onions before serving warm.
