Ingredients
- 8 oz rice noodles
- 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 green onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the rice noodles according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Toss sliced beef with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear the beef for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned; remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, stir-fry red bell pepper and broccoli for 4-5 minutes, then add green onions, garlic, and ginger for another 1-2 minutes.
- Whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
- Return the beef to the skillet along with cooked noodles; pour over the sauce and toss well to combine.
- Serve garnished with extra green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
