  • 1/3 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • Optional toppings: tofu, chicken, ground beef, sesame seeds, cilantro

Instructions

  1. Cook ramen noodles in boiling water according to package instructions until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add chopped green onion, ginger, and garlic; sauté for 3-5 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, sriracha, honey (or sugar), rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add cooked noodles to the sauce and stir gently to coat evenly. Let simmer for an additional few minutes.
  5. Adjust flavors as desired and serve hot with optional garnishes.
