  • 12 ounces shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 16 ounces lo mein noodles
  • 4 ounces napa cabbage (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 small yellow onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 large carrot (julienned)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Shaoxing rice apple vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oil (any neutral oil)

Instructions

  1. Marinate shrimp with cornstarch, vinegar, salt, and oil; set aside.
  2. Mix sauce ingredients: oyster sauce, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Boil water in a pot, cook shrimp until pink; remove and set aside.
  4. Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions; add vegetables during the last minute.
  5. Stir-fry garlic in a wok; add noodles and veggies followed by the shrimp and sauce; mix well.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
