  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp bourbon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together pumpkin purée, brown sugar, spices, and salt. Add eggs, heavy cream, milk, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  3. Pour filling into the pie crust and bake for 45–55 minutes until set. Cool completely.

  5. For the whipped cream, beat heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form; add bourbon if desired.
