  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (170°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with aluminum foil.
  2. Melt butter and dark chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat. Let it cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sugar and eggs, then add the melted chocolate mixture.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt before combining with the chocolate mix.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, egg, vanilla extract, brown sugar, spices, and cornstarch until smooth.
  6. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan followed by the pumpkin mixture. Bake for about 50 minutes or until set.
