  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 2.53 cups water or broth
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak pieces seasoned with salt and pepper for about 2–3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet.
  2. Add remaining butter to the skillet, then stir in minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes; cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, simmer for 3–4 minutes before adding cheese until melted.
  4. Add uncooked rotini pasta and water/broth to the mixture; bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Return seared steak with juices to the skillet; stir well to combine.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, then serve hot.
