- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, soak panko bread crumbs in milk; set aside.
- Sauté diced onion in butter until fragrant and lightly browned. Add garlic and cook briefly before cooling.

- While baking, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard for the sauce. After the initial baking time, spread the sauce over the meatloaf and bake for an additional 30-35 minutes until cooked through.
