- ¾ cup cornstarch
- ¾ cup buffalo sauce
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Garlic powder
- Chili powder (optional)
- Mustard powder

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together all ingredients for the Firecracker sauce.
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces; season with salt and pepper. Coat each piece in the whisked eggs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan to 365°F (185°C). Dredge chicken pieces in cornstarch, dip again in egg mixture, and fry until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side).
- Transfer fried chicken to a wire rack to cool slightly. Toss with Firecracker sauce in a large bowl.
- Place coated chicken in a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes, tossing halfway through for even coating.
