Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slices thinly sliced beef
  • 1 pack enoki mushrooms (split into 12 pieces)
  • 1/2 small yellow onion (sliced)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup dashi broth
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 stalk green onion (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare enoki mushrooms by dividing them into small bunches. Roll each bunch tightly with a slice of beef.
  2. Mix dashi broth, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté sliced onions until caramelized.
  4. Arrange beef rolls over the cooked onions and drizzle with sauce. Cover and cook for about 3 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  5. Scramble eggs in a bowl and pour over the rolls in the skillet, cooking until set—about 2 minutes.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with diced green onions and sesame seeds.
