  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix together milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. For the filling: in a small bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan; sprinkle with half of the cinnamon filling. Repeat layering with remaining batter and filling; swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. While cooling, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for icing.
  8. Drizzle icing over slightly cooled bread before serving.
