  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Thaw frozen lobster tails and cut the top shell to the base without cutting through the bottom shell. Gently pull apart and lift the meat slightly.
  2. Marinate the lobster tails in buttermilk mixed with Old Bay seasoning for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Dredge each lobster tail in flour after removing them from the buttermilk.
  5. Fry the coated tails for about 4-6 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Drain excess oil on paper towels before serving.
