  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or coconut cream for dairy-free)
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups water or broth
  • 200 grams fresh green beans, trimmed

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until clear, then combine it with water or broth in a pot; bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet, season chicken with salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley. Cook for 6–7 minutes on each side until golden brown; set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, add chicken broth and simmer. Stir in heavy cream; cook until slightly thickened.
  4. Blanch green beans in boiling salted water for about 3–4 minutes; drain and rinse.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet to coat with sauce; serve over fluffy rice with green beans on the side.
