- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 rings (13 ounces each) smoked turkey sausage, sliced
- 2 cans Great Northern white beans, rinsed and drained
- Fresh parsley for garnish

- Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add sliced smoked turkey sausage and brown on both sides for about 7-9 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt butter and add onion, carrots, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook for 10-12 minutes until vegetables are softened.
- Sprinkle flour over the vegetables; stir well and cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and milk; stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Return the browned sausage to the pot along with rinsed beans. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 15-20 minutes until thickened.
