  • 1.52 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons milk or cream
  • Pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash and dry mason jars thoroughly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and baking powder; whisk until well mixed.
  4. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  5. Add egg whites, canola oil, milk, and vanilla to the creamed mixture; mix until blended.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; mix on low speed until just combined.
  7. Fold in rainbow sprinkles gently.
  8. Spoon batter into prepared jars, filling each halfway, and bake for about 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. For frosting: Beat together unsalted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  10. Once cakes are cooled, layer cake pieces with frosting in each jar; top with extra sprinkles.
