  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the twisted pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak tips seasoned with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until browned (3-4 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and milk; stir in cream cheese until smooth. Mix in Parmesan and mozzarella until thickened; season to taste.
  4. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce; toss to coat. Top with seared steak tips and garnish with parsley before serving.
