- 4 slices of bread (sourdough or whole wheat recommended)
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of cooked turkey bacon
- 2 tablespoons of blackberry jam
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer 2 slices of cheddar cheese, followed by turkey bacon, and spread 1 tablespoon of blackberry jam.
- Top with the other slices of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Heat the skillet again and place sandwiches inside. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip carefully using a spatula and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted and both sides are golden.
- Slice in half and serve warm.
